Dec. 29, 2011 "Day on the RiverRun Train"

Today, we went on the River Run Train that leaves out from the StockYards in Fort Worth. Gavin & Mommy met cousin Aiden, Grandpa, Uncle Kevin & Aunt Rachel for a ride on the train.  Of course, with the boy's passion for trains, they had a blast!!  

 So cute!! The boys giving a good "Choo Choo"!!!

ICE at the Gaylord Texan

This year's ICE show at the Gaylord Texan was themed Shrek!  It was amazing!  Gavin & I walked through the coldness bundled to the max & loving it. 

 Here is Gavin sitting on Shrek's outhouse potty. He looks tiny compared to Shrek's "throne".

 Gavin had to take off his glove to feel the ice. He didn't think I was telling him the truth about all of it being made out of ice. He had to feel for himself. 

 Of course, he was touching other things that he wasn't supposed to touch.

 The dragon was huge!  It's entire body was in the show. 

 Gianna was there too, but it was too cold for her to go through the show.

 After the show, we got hot chocolate. Yum!!

 The Gaylord always has a cozy fire for relaxing by after you enjoy the ICE!!

Christmas Morning 2011

Christmas morning was one for the books!  Gavin was so excited because Santa brought him a real train!!!  It was going around the tree when he woke up.  He just sat on the floor forever & watched it go around & around.  

 This was Gianna's first Christmas & she loved it!  She & Gavin had their Christmas pjs on & were ready to open some presents!  

 This was Gavin trying to make Gianna smile!

 & then trying to fix her hat.

 Gianna wanted to eat the wrapping paper, but Gavin didn't let her. What a good big brother. :)

 Santa brought Gianna her first baby doll.  She loved it & snuggled with it immediately. 

Christmas Eve 2011

Gavin & Gianna were all dressed up to attend Christmas Eve service at church.  The experience was not great.  The church provided us each with a candle that had a cup on the end of it for the last part of the service.  Before we even got to that part, Gianna was over it & Gavin had already tagged someone in the head with his cup.  Needless to say, we left early.

Playing Catchup AGAIN!!!

I am so sorry to anyone out there that actually reads my posts.  I have been so busy that I continue to play catch up with not only everything else in my life, but this blog as well.  I vowed that I would catch up & post regularly now that I have paid someone to create my blog design. We will see how long it takes me to get up to date & keep it up!!
So, that being said......here are more pictures from the past until I can finally tell you all the exciting new things happening in the present! ;)
