Long time passed!

It has been a very long time since I posted some pics & caught everyone up on Gavin's latest, so here goes.....

His two year birthday is right around the corner & we are super excited. We have been feeling every bit of the terrible twos only to hear people say "just wait until they are three". We are not saying we don't love him every bit of when we brought him home (actually, I think I love him more every day), but our patience is being tested on a daily bases. Let me just say, he sees a lot of the corner of the dining room (where he takes his time out).

However, he is learning to say so many words & making us laugh like crazy all the time. The other day he really wanted a pringle (is that how you spell that???). I told him no several times only to cave & tell him he could have one & one only!! After he finished his one, he politely asked for "Mo" or more to you & me. I told him that I said only one & he had his one. He just smiled his sweet smile, cocked his head, & looked at me to ask "Two"? I busted out laughing & telling him that was very good that he knew two was more that one, but he still wasn't getting two. :)

Besides being tough & trying to stick to the rules, we are trying to enjoy every day & savoring these memories.

Gavin also starts pre-school on Fridays & we are excited to know he will be learning & socializing with kids his own age. I don't think Mommy is too much fun after a while.

Happy 4th of July!!

We had a wonderful 4th of July! We went to the Ranger game & saw some amazing fireworks. The next day we visited some of Daddy's friends & I got to play with a lot of little kids. I was the youngest, but held my own.

Camping

We went camping with The Stringer's at Lake Texarkana. I really liked biking and playing with my cousin, Peyton, even though he didn't want to have anything to do with me.

Catch Up Time Again!!

Well, since it has been a while since our last post, we are playing catch up yet again! The latest news with Gavin......he wants me to tell him what things are as he points to them. This can go on as long as I let it. He loves hearing me say the word & then trying to repeat it.

In these pics, I am pushing my friend, Clare on my four-wheeler, helping cut my own toenails, & swimming with my friends, Cade & Jack.

We love going to the pavilion in downtown Arlington to listen to music. I am an excellent dancer.
